- 1 1/2 cinnamon sticks
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon azucar morena (brown sugar)
- 1 tablespoon Mexican hot cocoa (brick and grater)
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 cups whole milk
Directions
Step 1
Place ½ cinnamon stick (whole) inside the espresso funnel or filter. Add coffee grounds, vanilla and azúcar morena. Add water and brew the coffee according to espresso stovetop maker directions.

Step 3
Divide the brewed coffee between two cups.
Step 4
Pour milk and milk foam evenly between the two cups, starting from the center of the cup.
Step 5
Using a grater, sprinkle Mexican hot cocoa on the foam. Add chili powder and serve with a cinnamon stick as a garnish.
