The JURA GIGA W3 is one of the most impressive super-automatics we’ve ever seen, so much so, that we’ve come to believe in a barista greater than ourselves. Its serious capacities keep it cranking out drinks all day with very few hopper and reservoir fill ups, or drip tray and dreg drawer empties. The GIGA W3 makes it easy, too, with its on screen reminders.
Anyone at the office can simply step up and brew with little guidance on how to navigate using the full color TFT display. Plus, we love that you can easily take a coffee to go with its extra tall spouts. Another feature we’ve been raving about is the programmability. We’re talking coffee strength across five settings, hot water temp across three, brew temp across three, plus milk and coffee volume to taste for each individual drink, of which, there are forty three options total.
The GIGA W3 is as intuitive as it is innovative. This baby really has it all. The W3 comes pre-programmed to deliver a wide array of drinks, such as ristretti, espressi, cafes creme, cappunnini, latte macchiati, flat white, (all times two!) and even a pot of coffee. The intuitive TFT display allows each of its 43 drinks to be customized according to coffee dosage, volume, and temperature; and milk volume can be adjusted for specialty drinks. Drinks can even be adjusted on a per-drink basis while brewing.
For added convenience, you can program the GIGA W3 to turn on before you arrive to the office, and turn off when you leave; and, of course, it features JURA’s automated cleaning and maintenance cycles. The Giga W3 comes equipped with a high-performance grinder which produces two espressos in a mere 33 seconds, two lattes in a short minute and a half, and even a pot of coffee at just two and a half minutes. Each of its 43 drinks are fully customizable on a per-drink basis, and an integrated bypass doser allows for pre-ground coffee brewing, which is great for decaf drinkers.
Rapid brewing is made possible by the dual thermoblock boiler system, and rapid steaming by the dual 15 bar pumps. These are what make the Giga W3 capable of producing a whopping 120 drinks per day, two at a time. With the 5 liter reservoir and integrated CLARIS Pro Blue water filter backing them up, the Giga W3 can brew drinks on top of drinks for days.
The Giga W3 is made even more convenient by its 7 day on/off programmability, making sure its ready to brew as soon as you arrive to the office, and as late as you need it to. When not in use, the machine slips into standby mode, so as to conserve power.
The Giga W3 automatically displays maintenance alerts when the brew group needs cleaning or the machine needs to be descaled. The milk system has an automated cleaning cycle, and rinses after each use. Regular upkeep will keep the office properly caffeinated for years.
