Wrapped entirely in stainless steel housing, the Barista Express has a built-in conical burr grinder with 16 stepped grind adjustments and an 8 oz bean hopper. Coupled with the PID-controlled brew water temperatures and automatic pre-infusion, this machine gives you the power to coax nuanced and complex flavors from specialty coffee beans.
The machine is intuitive and easy to use thanks to the button and knob controls, and the pre-set grind and extraction times mean you can start brewing excellent espresso right out of the box.
The ample 67 oz water reservoir comes with a filter to help prevent the need to descale the machine, though don’t worry—it’ll remind you when it’s time with automatic cleaning and maintenance alerts.
