The Cuisinart CHW-12 Coffee Plus Programmable Coffee Maker & Hot Water System is a one-stop beverage center ideal for the home. The coffee maker portion of this machine features a 12-cup glass carafe as well as programmable and automatic features to make brewing fresh java fast and easy. Unlike most conventional coffee makers, the CHW-12 also has a hot water system. This machine can dispense hot water within moments for soup, tea, hot chocolate and more. The CHW-12 has a 12-cup glass carafe with an ergonomic handle and drip-free spout for easy serving. Coffee is always kept at the perfect temperature, thanks to a Carafe Temperature Knob. Choose from high, medium and low settings to keep your beverages at the ideal temperature. The Water System works independently of the coffee maker. You can brew coffee and dispense hot water for soup, tea or hot cocoa simultaneously. An indicator light, located by the Water System’s on/off button, will blink while it’s heating and turn solid when the water is ready. A charcoal water filter helps eliminate minerals and impurities from tap water. The Water System has a safety lock lever. Keep the unit lock, when not in use, to prevent accidents. The Coffee Plus features ABS-plastic housing with stainless steel accents. This model comes with a permanent Gold Tone coffee filter. It is backed by a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. The Cuisinart CHW-12 measures 10.25”W x 9.50”D x 14.30”H.
