Busy coffee lovers deserve the Cuisinart DCC-2650 12-Cup Extreme Brew Programmable Coffee Maker. This efficient machine can prepare great tasting java up to 25% faster than its counterparts. This model features re-engineered brewing technology that allows it to operate 25% faster than other coffee makers in its class. The Cuisinart DCC-2650 also has a variable-temperature hot plate with low, medium and high heat settings. Use the controls as necessary to keep your coffee at the desired temperature. While this coffee maker has a large 12-cup capacity, you can also brew smaller volumes without sacrificing flavor and aroma thanks to the 1-4 cup setting. There are even coffee strength options to allow you to make regular or bold drinks. The 12-Cup Extreme Brew is equipped with a 60-second reset feature that will recall your settings in the event of power failure.
The Cuisinart DCC-2650 12-Cup Extreme Brew comes equipped with 24-hour programmability. It can be preset up to a day in advance to automatically activate and brew fresh coffee. In addition, you have the option of leaving the audible brew complete alerts on or turning them off as necessary. With Cuisinart’s convenient Brew Pause Feature, you can stop the brewing cycle before it is complete to pour a cup of coffee. Once you’re done, the machine can resume the brewing cycle where it left off. The Extreme Brew has a 60-ounce reservoir with a charcoal water filter. The filter will rid your tap water of impurities to help alleviate scale build up. For your convenience, a dedicated light, located on the front panel of the machine, will let you know when it needs to be descaled. The DCC-2650 comes with a permanent Gold Tone coffee filter but can also accommodate disposable paper filters as well. This Cuisinart coffee maker has an attractive silver ABS plastic housing. It measures 8”W x 9”D x 15.5”H and weighs a little over 7 pounds.
