The Eureka Mignon Silenzio is a quiet all purpose grinder with manual controls for timed and manual modes. Its flexibility and straightforward operation lend it considerable value.
The Eureka Mignon Silenzio is an all purpose grinder with simple manual controls a series of subtle features under the hood.
For those controls, the Mignon Silenzio uses a push-button to switch between timed and manual modes, and a dial for adjusting grind time. It's a quiet grinder, measuring in at about 73 dBA, so you won't ever need to stop a conversation to make your drinks. It brings Eureka's patented micrometric adjustment, so you expect smooth, stepless adjustments when dialing in the grind. Plus, the portafilter holder fork is adjustable to work with any portafilter on the market.
For performance, it's equipped with 50 mm flat hardened steel burrs and a strong 1350 RPM motor. Eureka's ACE system helps prevent clumping by eliminating static in ground coffee, which in turn ensures dose consistency.
The Mignon Silenzio does exactly what it's name suggests; it grinds very quietly, and it does so efficiently. The micrometric grind adjustment knob is one of the easiest ways to make very fine changes to grind size that we've experienced, as well. Plus, with a height of under 14 inches, this coffee and espresso grinder will fit just about anywhere.
It's simple and it works. The Mignon Silenzio features a push button to switch between timed and manual grinding modes. When in timed mode, the adjacent dial adjusts grind time. For minimum and maximum grind times, our testing showed a range of about 2 seconds to 20 seconds.
The Eureka Mignon Silenzio features a stepless micrometric adjustment knob for dialing in the grind with precision. Adjust clockwise for a finer grind or counterclockwise for a coarser grind. This all purpose grinder is appropriate for Turkish, espresso, moka, drip, and French press.
